Private sessions are usually 60 to 90 minutes long and are available for meditation and all types of yoga classes.
Some appropriate times to have individual tuition include:
• getting started, especially if group classes seem overwhelming or intimidating
• when your practice seems to have reached a plateau
• when you have had an injury or are recovering from illness
• managing stress
• managing weight
Yoga Therapy tailors yoga postures to the individuals needs and is suitable for a wide range of health conditions such as:
• asthma; and other respiratory problems
• addictions; alcohol, tobacco or drugs
• depression; including postnatal depression
• back, shoulder or neck pain
• digestive problems; IBS, constipation
• heart disease
• ME, and other forms of severe fatigue
• pregnancy & postnatal
